HOMING RESTLESSNESS

Why is that I am not satisfied
Is it the urge that is strong
aspiring to be best and surge all along
never i miss a chance or option
trying the test and
yet relying on God
to help me excel
making me the ablest
day in and day out I toil hard
'its not that i ought to do that
this is what gives me the thrill
the kick and the feeling of being alive
i can't be like those many
for whom life is just living
born as human I aspire
for something more and more
till the time I eternally retire
soul in search of ideals multitudes
hosts the enmities of inferior beings
though it(soul) being out of reach
the flesh is tormented and teased
asks in beseech-
I am tired tired of the
cunning corrupt ways
of the world.......
Let there be some peace!
Soul retorts and sets forth
reasons and rationale
soothing and comforting
rejuvenating and resurrecting
the once tired spirit and flesh
together they join the inner-voice
soul and spirit, starting afresh
their journey eternal...
