EVERLASTING INFATUATION

Thou art still ruling my heart

Though quiet far away

Your thoughts flood and blot

Stirring the soul taking my breath away

What relation bonds us?

What affinity we share?

Thinking all about I spend my days

Bereft of tags and names

Real relations are sublime, I swear!

My pulse rises and blood flows with gush

Elated is the spirit and silently I blush

Quizzed the people around looked intrigued

Ignorant of them all
My sense experienced a state of trance

What name shall I give?

To the unconditional concern and care

Beyond the common understanding

Which you and I share

This love is neither out of compulsion

Nor the result of imposed bond

Or out of materialistic longing and travail

Nothing earthly and common place binds us

The ties are invisible yet invincible

Ye all! This is what you ought to know

Things noble and gracious

Are bestowed on to the graceful

Even the Lord will bless

Souls generous with His mercy

With eternal bliss

Infatuation everlasting,

That you will never miss
